Peter Schoellkopff
Praised by the Boston Music Intelligencer for his “commanding stage presence” and “projecting bass voice,” Peter Schoellkopff is a dynamic and versatile singer with a broad range of musical expertise. His diverse performances span from choral ensembles to the operatic stage, showcasing a repertoire that bridges both historical and contemporary works.
Recently, Peter captivated audiences as Betto di Signa in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi with Finger Lakes Opera. His talents were further highlighted during his tenure as a Young Artist at the Boston Early Music Festival, where he took on the role of Borée in Élizabeth Jacquet de La Guerre’s Cephale et Procris.
Peter holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees in performance from the Eastman School of Music, where he excelled in various operatic roles and was an active member of the Collegium Musicum, specializing in baroque music. He was also honored as a Voces8 US Scholar for the 2022-2023 season.
