Heather Miller Lardin
Heather Miller Lardin frequently appears with period instrument ensembles throughout the Northeast, including the Handel & Haydn Society, Arcadia Players, Tempesta di Mare, and Brandywine Baroque. As a modern double bassist, she was a member of the Virginia Symphony from 1996-2002. Ms. Lardin has served on the double bass faculty of Temple University, the viol faculty of the Amherst Early Music Festival, and has taught music history at Cornell University and the Eastman School of Music. She received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Performance Practice from Cornell and is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music. She has served as NYS Baroque’s Artistic Director since 2006.
