We explore the flourishing of music in German and Austrian lands after the Thirty Years War, and the dawning of the extravagant and experimental new style known as Stylus Phantasticus. Music by Biber, Schmelzer, Rittler, and others, in the resonant acoustics of the historic Downtown United Presbyterian Church.

Mozart Sonatas and Variations

(Boston Globe)  Need we say more? Celebrating their new Harmonia Mundi recording, this young duo will perform a program of Mozart sonatas and variations. Kris Bezuidenhout has deservedly been a favorite of Rochester audiences, and this is a rare chance to hear him now that he makes his home in Europe.
