Jonathan Wetherbee, actor, is a recent graduate of the University of Rochester, where he was actively involved in the UR International Theatre Program throughout his undergraduate years. Some favorite roles have included Edgar in Shakespeare’s King Lear (directed by Nigel Maister) Andrew Undershaft in Shaw’s Major Barbara (directed by Brooke O’Hara, Artistic Director of the acclaimed NYC experimental theatre company, Theatre of the Two-Headed Calf) Dr. Faustus in Gertrude Stein’s groundbreaking and language-bending Dr. Faustus Lights the Lights and, most recently, Lazar in Alexander Ostrovky’s social satire, A Family Affair (directed by Roger Bennington). He is the recipient of the Charles I. Keelan Award and the Barbara Lee Rubin Prize, and currently lives and works in Rochester, NY.
