Jonathan Woody

Bass-baritone Jonathan Woody is a sought-after performer of early and new music in New York and nationwide. Equally comfortable as soloist and ensemble member, Jonathan is a member of the Grammy®-nominated Choir of Trinity Wall Street, where he has been featured in performances of works by G.F. Handel and J.S. Bach, earning praise as “charismatic” and “riveting” from the New York Times. He performs regularly across the United States; recent engagements include the Oregon Bach Festival Vocal Fellowship, the Carmel Bach Festival Virginia Best Adams Fellowship, performances with the Green Mountain Project, the Clarion Music Society, Antioch Chamber Ensemble, TENET, Signal Ensemble, the Prototype Festival, Brooklyn Baroque and Gotham Chamber Opera. Upcoming engagements include opera & concert performances with Beth Morrison Productions, Bach Collegium San Diego, Handel & Haydn Society and Nashville Symphony, and touring with Apollo’s Fire and Pegasus Early Music.
